Orbit GeoSpatial Technologies has announced the release and availability of the Orbit Mobile Mapping Publisher version 10.3. Peter Bonne, VP Business Development and senior product manager at Orbit GT, describes the Mobile Mapping Publisher release as "a breakthrough for all mobile mapping data producers".
He continues: "For the first time, mobile mapping content such as panoramic imagery and point cloud can be published to the web and to mobile devices, regardless of the system one uses for collection of the data. It will revolutionise the emerging mobile mapping business and make its content accessible for all.”
The Orbit Mobile Mapping Publisher is a part of Orbit’s Mobile Mapping portfolio, together with Orbit AIM3, an application for mobile mapping content management, feature extraction and content publishing worldwide.
