Polish Government Tender Won with TatukGIS Software

TatukGIS customer LOGON SA has recently won a public tender carried out by the Poland Chief Inspectorate for Environmental Protection to supply computer hardware and GIS software to the Provincial Inspectorates for Environmental Protection and the Provincial Headquarters of the State Fire Service.

The final stage of the fulfillment of this contract, training on the use of the TatukGIS Editor software, was performed on 29-30 October  2012. Personnel of these two government organisations are presently using the TatukGIS Editor in the performance of their jobs.

LOGON selected the desktop TatukGIS Editor product to fulfill the GIS software portion of the tender. The TatukGIS Editor fulfilled the contract specifications for a significantly lower cost, including license fees and user training, than other GIS desktop software product options.

The TatukGIS Editor is a professional-level, desktop GIS mapping and data editing application designed to be easily learned and used. The default user interface intuitively presents the features most used and valued by most GIS users, without unnecessary menu clutter. Specialised features and custom extensions may be efficiently added using a built-in scripting environment and powerful object API.
