Renowned Companies to Headline ION GNSS+ 16 Urban Navigation Panel

The Institute of Navigation has announced that engineers from Google, Uber, Baidu, Broadcom, u-blox and the University of Texas will headline the Urban Navigation Panel being held during ION GNSS+ from 12-16 September at the Oregon Convention Center, Portland, Oregon, USA.

This elite collection of speakers are on the forefront of creating self-driving vehicles and the GPS systems that guide them and will present an overview of the techniques and technologies that enable vehicle navigation within cities, where buildings block the signals from GNSS satellites.

The Urban Navigation Panel will take place on Wednesday 14 September, 1:45 p.m. local time.
