Sokkia Cable-Free GPS

Sokkia (KS, USA) has released the GSR2700 IS Fully Integrated L1/L2 System, featuring Bluetooth wireless technology for completely cable-free surveying. The system has been developed in collaboration with POINT, Inc. (KS, USA) and NovAtel, Inc. (Canada). The survey-grade, dual-frequency GPS receiver, integrated data link, Bluetooth wireless technology, antenna, memory and batteries are all enclosed in a compact, rugged magnesium alloy housing, providing protection in the harshest of environments (IP67 rating). This all-on-the-pole receiver is designed to aid surveyors in a variety of field applications, with internal memory for 500 hours of data collection, along with options for an internal UHF or GSM/GPRS radio.
