STAR-APIC Exhibiting at Two Events Simultaneously

The STAR-APIC Group will exhibit at MED-IT Algeria from 26th to 28th September 2011. Meanwhile, Mercator CPS, the subsidiary of STAR-APIC specialising in cartographic publishing solutions, will exhibit at Intergeo in Nuremberg, Germany, from 27th to 29th September 2011.  

During MED-IT, STAR-APIC and its Algerian partner GPC-DZ will participate in one of the workshops to present GIS software and solutions dedicated to land and infrastructure management (water, sewerage and electricity networks, public authorities in charge of urban planning, cadastre, forestry...). MED-IT will also provide an opportunity to introduce Elyx 3D, STAR-APIC's 3D Geographic Information System, which enables the centralisation and sharing of 2D/3D data in a single data warehouse. The STAR-APIC team will welcome visitors at stand number 29 for the duration of the exhibition.

On the showfloor of Intergeo 2011, the Mercator CPS team, on stand number 7H29, will introduce three products. MercatorPublish is the desktop version of Mercator is a purpose-built tool for the semi-automated interactive production of high-quality map documents from GIS, CAD or DB data. It can be used in standalone mode or as client to MercatorServer. MercatorServer enables automated production of ready-for-publishing documents with the guarantee of consistent output time and time again. This software combines EskoArtwork's professional workflow software, BackStage, with cartography-specific tasks. MercatorDB facilitates combining the power of an open Oracle database with the cartographic strengths of Mercator, thus providing a workflow tool that is even more flexible and productive. It can be used both for automated map derivation and for database editing in a cartographic environment.

The STAR-APIC team will also be present on the Mercator CPS stand to introduce its software solutions dedicated to land and infrastructure management.
