Biography
Menno-Jan Kraak is professor of Geovisual Analytics and Cartography (Faculty of ITC) at the University of Twente and ITC’s vice dean of capacity development. He was president of the International Cartographic Association (ICA) for the period 2015–2019. He has authored many publications, including the books Cartography, visualization of geospatial (4th edition 2020 – CRC Press), Mapping time (2014 – ESRI Press) and Mapping for a sustainable world (2020 – United Nations).
