Xinlian Liang

Dr Xinlian Liang is a senior research scientist and a team leader at the Department of Remote Sensing and Photogrammetry (Finnish Geospatial Research Institute, FGI) and the Centre of Excellence in Laser Scanning Research (Academy of Finland). He is a well-cited author in the field of precision forestry using terrestrial laser scanning (TLS). His current research interests include innovative geospatial techniques in forest ecosystem studies, especially for the extraction of various tree attributes from all kinds of point clouds as well as other imagery technologies.

Terrestrial Laser Scanning in Forest Inventories
