Get to know Carlson Software - A Message from Bruce Carlson, President & Founder

For those of you new to Carlson Software, we would like to introduce ourselves. We are an independent developer of application software with an intense focus on road design, site design, hydrology and hydraulics, construction and mining applications. We are unique in offering proven and fully linked field and office software products that, together, minimise learning curves, maximise equipment utilisation and optimise production.

Our field software includes both data collection (Carlson SurvCE, SurvPC, Carlson Field and CSI Mobile) and machine control solutions (Carlson Grade) running on nearly all GPS and total stations manufactured today. For office software, our newly released Carlson 2012 runs on IntelliCAD and on all versions of AutoCAD and AutoCAD Map 3D (2000-2012). Our new 2012 release taps the processing capabilities of 64-bit computers, handles Windows 7, and will also run on top of AutoCADCivil 3Dand Land Desktop, providing easy-to-use and comprehensive application software for surveying and civil engineering. The Carlson Software Civil Suite - Carlson Survey, Carlson Civil, Carlson Hydrology and Carlson GIS - represents the premiere alternative to Civil 3D.

In June 2010, Carlson Software established a wholly owned subsidiary, Carlson EMEA BV, in The Netherlands for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Carlson EMEA provides free technical support to all users of Carlson products.
