FIG e-Working Week 2021 in Full Swing

The opening ceremony of the FIG e-Working Week 2021 was live-streamed from the venue in Apeldoorn, the Netherlands, on Monday 21 June and is now available to watch on demand. The ceremony includes the official welcome by the secretary general of the Netherlands Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations, the keynote by the dean of Wageningen University & Research, and the welcome addresses by FIG, GIN, Kadaster and University of Twente. GIM International is proud to be a media partner of this prestigious event.

The fact that the FIG Working Week has been transformed to take place online opens up exciting new opportunities. For example, this special e-Working Week is now accessible from all over the world, allowing the whole FIG community – which comprises over 250,000 members from 120 countries – to participate in the event.

On behalf of the organizing committee, we welcome you to the FIG e-Working Week 2021 with the theme of ‘Smart Surveyors for Land and Water Management – challenges in a new reality’ which is being held as an online event in the Netherlands.
