Topics to be discussed at GTC 2022 encompass new technologies of GIS platform software, smart cities, water conservancy and meteorology, ecological environment, safety emergency, agriculture, GIS and innovative applications of information technology, natural resource informatization, etc.

GIS Software Technology Conference, or GTC for short, is a global GIS event with the mission of “sharing the latest developments in GIS software, and exchanging the best practices in GIS applications”. In 2019, GTC welcomed more than 200 geospatial experts from over 50 countries to attend the in-person meetings. In 2020, 24,000 attendees from 120 countries were present at virtual sessions. This year, the plenary conference of GTC 2022 will be presented in English, French and Spanish and onsite sessions will be held in Japan, Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, Botswana, Senegal, Colombia, and Peru.
