Smart GEO Expo 2021: ‘Digital Twin, Design the Smarter Future’
The theme of this year’s Smart GEO Expo 2021 is ‘Digital Twin, Design the Smarter Future’. Asia’s biggest geospatial information technology exchange event is gearing up to take place from 21-23 July in Seoul, Korea. This year’s edition will be held in a hybrid form, both as a physical and virtual exhibition and conference.
Smart GEO Expo 2021 celebrates its 13th anniversary this year with the slogan ‘Digital Twin, Design the Smarter Future’. The aim is to present the newest geospatial information technologies and their convergence with other industries, and to promote international cooperation and expansion in the geospatial industry.
The event – serving as the largest business platform in Korea for the geospatial industry – comprises a wide array of conferences and workshops on related topics which enable participants to obtain knowledge and share their professional experiences. Smart GEO Expo 2021 will also help attendees to find new business opportunities through business partnership programmes and network with international contacts from the participating countries.
The Smart GEO Expo was first held in 2008, when spatial information-related events such as GIS Korea, Cadastral Innovation Expo and Measurement Day were integrated under the same umbrella. Since then, Smart Geospatial Expo has become a valued annual event which repeatedly attracts high attendance from governments, universities, institutes and industry.
