Then on the day, head to the Conference Forum (Foyer East) in Stuttgart, grab a seat and prepare to hear all about the latest innovations in the geospatial industry during the 'GIM International' conference track. After two hectic days at the trade fair, it is the ideal way to round off your time at Intergeo before heading home armed with new insights and inspiration.

For the GIM International conference programme on the third day of this year’s Intergeo, we are delighted to have lined up two renowned keynote speakers from the mapping industry as well as nine other high-profile experts from research institutions and pioneering companies in our business. The GIM International conference track is divided into two a morning session and an afternoon session. The morning session, titled ‘Geomatics in the Next Decade’, will give you a realistic yet enthralling glimpse into the geospatial future. The afternoon session, titled ‘The Many Faces of Mobile Mapping’, will cover all the advancements in mobile mapping, whether the system is mounted on a car, on a train, on a drone or on your back.

Buckle up for a breathtaking voyage into the geospatial realm – ranging from a presentation on mobile Lidar mapping adventures in the Arctic, Far-Eastern forests and beyond, to details of a new and emerging vision of GIS as our planet’s ‘intelligent nervous system’. Another highlight is the presentation of a new method to improve the MLS platform’s trajectory for GNSS denied areas. Needless to say, big data will feature prominently on our conference agenda, including a presentation on smart approaches for managing the data from the extremely dense point clouds collected by drones nowadays.

This is just a taste of what awaits you on the third and last day of Intergeo 2019. So round off your participation at the geospatial surveying community’s leading annual gathering in style this year with a thorough update of all the exciting developments in our fascinating industry. As the icing on the cake, you will even get a sneak peek of what lies ahead.

It was standing room only during last year’s GIM International session at Intergeo, so get there early to secure a seat. Come and join us, and grow your knowledge at Intergeo 2019!
