Advances in Spatio-Temporal Analysis

Taylor and Francis (The Netherlands) has released a new publication in the ISPRS Book Series: "Advances in Spatio-Temporal Analysis".

The book is edited by Xinming Tang (Key Laboratory of Geo-informatics of State Bureau of Surveying and Mapping, Beijing, China), Yaolin Liu (Wuhan University, People's Republic of China), Jixian Zhang (Chinese Academy of Surveying and Mapping, Beijing, People's Republic of China) and Wolfgang Kainz (University of Vienna, Austria).

Researchers in the field of Temporal Geographical Information Systems (TGIS) have been developing methods of incorporating time into geographical information systems. This book presents new models and techniques in Geographic Information Technology, such as exploratory spatial data analysis, dynamic modelling, fuzzy logic, etc. All of these theories and techniques have been used to solve realistic problems, such as socio-economical, environmental and health problems, which are of particular interest to decision makers.

The book addresses a wide variety of research issues and provides researchers and practitioners with a good overall view of the latest developments.  Full table of contents and authors via pub.nl@tandf.co.uk
