Aispeco and Teledyne Geospatial present innovative airborne asset management solution

Teledyne Geospatial, in partnership with Aispeco, will be showcasing the Network Surveyor solution at Distributech 2025. This leading event for transmission and distribution will be held from 24-27 March in Dallas, Texas, USA. The event will gather industry professionals to discuss the latest developments in utility infrastructure monitoring.

Network Surveyor, designed to meet the tight schedules of electric utilities, combines advanced Lidar technology with edge processing to provide near real-time insights. This solution allows teams to access fully processed data quickly, which is then integrated into Pointerra3D’s cloud platform. As a result, utilities can identify vegetation risks and network issues in hours rather than weeks, supporting faster decision-making and compliance with NERC FAC-003 regulations.

At the Teledyne Geospatial booth, visitors will get a firsthand look at some of the latest technologies, including the Optech EchoONE UAV Lidar payload, Aispeco’s Heliux Lite, and Pointerra3D’s powerful processing engine. The Optech EchoONE is a high-performance UAV Lidar sensor, fully compliant with the NDAA. It seamlessly integrates with NDAA-compliant UAV systems like the Freefly Astro Max and the Inspired Flight IF800, offering a reliable and efficient solution for airborne data collection.

On display alongside this is the Aispeco Heliux Lite, a versatile sensor mounting system designed to work across various aircraft types without the need for modifications. The Heliux Lite supports an extensive range of sensors, from Lidar and RGB cameras to 4-band, hyperspectral, and thermal sensors, making it a flexible tool for diverse applications in the field.

End-to-end solution

"We are thrilled to be part of Distributech 2025 and showcase our Network Surveyor solution," said Matthew Johnson, product manager at Teledyne Optech. "Our collaboration with Aispeco and Pointerra3D delivers a complete, end-to-end solution that addresses the critical needs of the Electric Utility Vegetation Management and Asset Management functions. We look forward to demonstrating how our technology can help utilities enhance their operational efficiency and compliance."

"Aispeco is proud to partner with one of the historical greats in surveying. Teledyne’s Lidar scanners introduce new possibilities for our customers – some have been requesting this for a long time," said Mantas Vaskela, CEO of Aispeco, a manufacturer of advanced geospatial data collection platforms, consisting of multi-sensor systems that can be installed on airborne, mobile, and stationary platforms and combine laser scanning, spectral (hyperspectral) and other imaging capabilities. "This partnership underscores Aispeco's commitment to delivering the best technological solutions and our ability to integrate new capabilities seamlessly."
