ARMOR X10gx Rugged Tablet Computer

Mettenmeier GmbH is to introduce the ultra-rugged ARMOR X10gx Tablet PC for the utilities, surveying, GIS, agricultural and forestry fields at the upcoming Intergeo in Nuremberg, Germany. The tablet is the successor to the 'Colibri X7 protect' from Mettenmeier Mobile Solutions and the supplier's lightest tablet ever at just 2.2 kg including battery.

Its qualities include an ultra-rugged chassis, certified to the MIL standard 810G and IP67. Its hot swapping feature makes it possible to replace the batteries during operation, without the need to switch off the device.

The ARMOR X10gx promises amazing sunlight viewability with an exclusive energy-efficient 10.4" LCD display. This high-intensity backlight screen is offered as dual mode, supporting both pen and touch input. It also comes with a 2MP camera. In addition to fast access times the solid-state drive (high-speed Intel SSD) provides best failure safety and protection for even your most sensitive data.

The company also offers configuration and development of the ARMOR X10gx, e.g. in terms of the integration of wireless total station functions or Topcon's GNSS precision module.

Mettenmeier is on Booth D16, Hall 7A.
