Autodesk Summer School

Autodesk is running a series of hands-on sessions at Summer School Training Events across the UK. The all-day sessions will be delivered between Monday 30 July and Tuesday 25 September.

During each course, civil engineering experts will introduce Autodesk's new AutoCAD Civil 3D 2008 software and focus on key applications including data import, ground modelling, horizontal and vertical design, corridor modelling, cross sections and volumes and pipe networks.

Autodesk AutoCAD Civil 3D is specifically tailored for civil engineers. Its 3D dynamic engineering model delivers the power to complete transportation, site development, landscaping, pipelines, waste disposal and many other kinds of projects significantly faster. Surfaces, cross sections, profiles and annotation are dynamically linked, making it quicker and easier to evaluate multiple alternatives, make better informed decisions and output up-to-date plans.

The sessions, which are priced at £150 plus VAT, cover practical advice and demonstrations on how to do the most common design tasks. Delegates also qualify for one free 30-day trial copy of Civil 3D software with support to be used before 7 October 2007, in addition to a 10% discount on one full software licence (excluding subscriptions) on orders placed by 15 October 2007.

Anyone interested in attending one of the Summer School training sessions, should contact their local Autodesk reseller. Alternatively to book online or find out more go to the link below.
