Breakthrough in Automatic Analysis of Aerial Images

At this year's CeBIT in Hannover, Germany, to be held from 6th to 10th March 2012, GTA will be presenting a prototype of a new Tridicon software version that enables the detection of 3D objects such as buildings without the need for 2D vector data (e.g. building outlines). Instead, stereo aerial images are the only source material needed for automatic 3D object reconstruction.

This development is said to revolutionise the production of 3D geodata worldwide. Additionally, GTA will be presenting the cutting-edge versions of its well known software products Tridicon 3D for the automatic production of 3D building models, the photogrammetric work station (Tridicon 3D EDITOR) as well as modules for automatic texturing (Tridicon TEXTUREMapper), automatic assessment of solar potential on roofs (Tridicon Solar), 3D real-time visualisation and analysis (Tridicon CityDiscoverer PRO) as well as data and updating management of 3D city models in data bases such as MySQl, PostgreSQL or Oracle (CityServer3D, in cooperation with Fraunhofer IGD Darmstadt).

Test data will be analysed for suitability on request. The individual production of sample data sets is certainly possible as well.

GTA is at the IT-Initiative MV in Hall 9 Booth 34. For an appointment or to receive free tickets, mail contact@tridicon.de.
