ComNav unveils new receiver designed for vehicle applications

ComNav Technology has announced the launch of its M100X GNSS receiver, specifically engineered for high-accuracy vehicular positioning and heading thanks to the Quantum-III SoC chip providing full-constellation and multi-frequency capabilities. Notably, the M100X features GNSS+INS integration, an algorithm that significantly boosts its reliability and performance, thereby enhancing functionality in challenging environments.

The M100X GNSS receiver utilizes GNSS+INS integrated technology, an advanced high-order algorithm that provides real-time high-precision positioning, velocity and heading data, enhancing positioning reliability. The advantages of this algorithm also extend to safeguarding vehicles as they pass through areas with poor signal reception. Even in obstructed environments such as urban canyons, city overpasses, underground garages, tunnels and parks, the M100X still can maintain its high precision and deliver continuous, smooth trajectories, minimizing risks and improving efficiency.

Dynamic applications

The M100X's data update rate of up to 100Hz enables it to excel in dynamic, high-speed environments, such as vehicles traveling at high speeds. This rapid update capability allows for continuous and real-time tracking of vehicle positions, ensuring reliable computation and instant updating of navigation information. It enables quick responses to changes in vehicle dynamics during travel. These features are crucial for maintaining seamless operation in high-speed environments, maintaining the highest levels of safety and performance.

Constructed from aluminium alloy and with an IP67 rating for water and dust, the M100X is built to withstand the rigours of the operational environment. It also features a shock-resistant design, capable of surviving a drop from 1m without damage. Its robust hardware is complemented by an array of connectivity options including 4G, LAN, Bluetooth, and multiple I/O ports, ensuring seamless integration with various systems and networks.

Remote management

ComNav has also optimized the user experience with Navigation Master software, a user-friendly Android app that ensures quick device configuration and effective remote management. With seamless Bluetooth connectivity and high compatibility, users can easily configure their M100X devices for optimal performance. Additionally, the groundbreaking cloud platform, NaviCloud, enhances project management by providing instant access to projects and data from anywhere. This cloud platform facilitates seamless collaboration and device management, empowering organizations to optimize efficiency and productivity.

Additionally, the M100X is equipped with multiple data interfaces and supports various protocols, including TCP/IP, Ntrip and JT808, providing solid support for secondary development and customization.
