EAASI announces young ambassador programme
The European Association of Aerial Surveying Industries (EAASI) has launched the Young Ambassador Program, an initiative designed to connect with the next generation of innovators in aerial surveying.
The programme aims to showcase the diverse and dynamic careers within the aerial surveying industry while empowering young professionals to become ambassadors for their field. Selected from talented individuals working within EAASI member companies, these Young Ambassadors will play a vital role in inspiring and guiding future professionals in the industry.
As Young Ambassadors, participants will have the opportunity to share their experiences and insights about working in aerial surveying. They will engage with potential future professionals at industry events, participate in informative video interviews providing insights into various aspects of the industry, and visit schools and universities to inspire a passion for science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM), particularly among young women.
Next generation of geospatial professionals
EAASI members are encouraged to suggest candidates whom they believe would make excellent Young Ambassadors and contribute to the growth of the programme. Through the Young Ambassador Program, EAASI is committed to fostering the growth of future leaders in aerial surveying.
This initiative is part of EAASI's ongoing efforts to attract and connect with students, addressing the chronic deficit of personnel that the geospatial industry has faced for years. By nurturing the next generation of geospatial professionals, the association aims to pave the way for a brighter future in aerial surveying.
