ER Mapper Appoints Guy Perkins as CEO

ER Mapper (Australia) appointed Guy Perkins as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of ER Mapper's global operations. Until recently, Mr Perkins was vice-president of ER Mapper Asia-Pacific. Mr Perkins replaces Stuart Nixon who will continue with ER Mapper as Founder and will concentrate on strategic projects and deep research for the next generation of imagery solutions.

Mr Perkins has held a number of key leadership positions during his career. A leading figure of the GIS community, Mr Perkins has over 20 years of experience in the Geospatial industry. Mr Perkins was involved with Australia's Spatial Information Action Agenda and was a founding Director of the Australian Spatial Information Business Association (ASIBA). He worked with ESRI Australia and ESRI South Asia for 15 years and later spent another 2 years with MapInfo - two leading global GIS software companies.
