ESRI Northeast Africa Established

ESRI (CA, USA) has established ESRI Northeast Africa (ESRI NEA), which will allow the expansion of ESRI’s software distribution into Libya, Chad, and Sudan and will provide the support and services required by ESRI’s growing customer base in the region.

According to Jack Dangermond, ESRI president, “ESRI Northeast Africa will be able to better serve our existing customer base with confident corporate support. The new company will act as a center of excellence for ESRI in the region and will be able to provide timely support and premium services for our regional customers.”

ESRI NEA is a free zone company located in Egypt with business that is spread across the region. ESRI NEA was established due to the success that was demonstrated by Quality Standards Information Technology (QSIT), ESRI’s distributor in Egypt and the surrounding region since 1994. ESRI NEA’s vision is to be a leader in providing GIS solutions to governments and businesses in the Middle East and North Africa.
