European Space Imaging and Vricon Announce Partnership

European Space Imaging (EUSI) has entered into an agreement with Vricon, a U.S.-based producer of high-accuracy 3D data and digital elevation models with global coverage. This partnership gives European customers easy access to The Globe in 3D and will be of particular benefit to government and security customers.

European Space Imaging always aims to give its customers and key partners access to the best technology and highest-resolution imagery solutions on the market, said Adrian Zevenbergen, managing director, European Space Imaging. The new agreement with Vricon brings accurate terrain data and 3D imagery of Earth to support defence and intelligence customers and will provide a huge benefit for anyone looking for up-to-date complete 3D geosolutions, he added.

All products of Vricon’s Data Suite are built using industry-leading, automated 3D modelling algorithms. The Vricon technology incorporates the extensive archive of satellite imagery provided by DigitalGlobe, a WorldView Global Alliance partner of European Space Imaging. 

European Space Imaging is a leading provider of very high-resolution satellite imagery and geospatial solutions for institutional and commercial  customers in Europe. Vricon uses a innovative 3D production process to build the 0.5m-resolution Vricon Data Suite, which includes the 3D Surface Model, Digital Surface Model, Digital Terrain Model, True Ortho and Point Cloud products.
