FME-based Smallworld Spatial Objects Manager

GE Energy (GA, USA) has developed the Smallworld Spatial Objects Manager (SOM) for Feature Manipulation Engine (FME) 4. This new geospatial multi-translator software product is the company’s latest addition to its suite of interoperability products. The product enables to access many formats of geospatial data without the need for translation. The product is based on Safe Software’s FME Objects product and provides seamless access to many of the most popular geospatial data formats. Its open architecture also provides a platform for a scalable solution. It extends external data formats, such as DXF/DWG, DGN, Shape and Mr. Sid, to ESRI's Coverage, SDE, Personal GeoDatabase and Enterprise GeoDatabase.
