GEO Business 2026 opens registration with expanded programme

Registration is now open for GEO Business 2026, the UK's leading geospatial conference and exhibition, which is returning to ExCeL London on 3 and 4 June.

This year's GEO Business promises its most comprehensive programme yet, with more than 150 CPD-accredited sessions spread across eight stages, featuring over 200 speakers drawn from some of the UK's most prominent organisations. Confirmed speakers include representatives from BT, Esri UK, DEFRA, Mastercard, Mott MacDonald, the NHS, Ordnance Survey, TomTom, and the World Geospatial Industry Council, among others.

The programme spans the full breadth of geospatial data and location intelligence, with themes including artificial intelligence, climate resilience, digital twins and emergency response. Sessions are designed to appeal to professionals at every level – from GIS analysts and surveyors to urban planners, spatial data scientists and senior technology decision-makers.

How AI is reshaping the mapping industry

One of the sessions already generating interest is 'AI Ate My GIS', in which Sparkgeo CEO Will Cadell examines how AI is reshaping the mapping industry and what it means for geospatial professionals. Mastercard's Director of Software Engineering, Usama Shamma, will explore how AI coding agents are transforming software engineering roles ahead of 2026. Other highlights include a live mapathon with the Humanitarian OpenStreetMap team, a detailed survey of London's brutalist Barbican complex, and a geospatial deep-dive into regional behavioural differences across the UK, led by BT's lead geospatial data scientist.

Alongside the seminar programme, the event will feature more than a hundred exhibitors showcasing the latest in geospatial technology, offering attendees the opportunity to see cutting-edge solutions in action and gather practical insights for their own organizations.

GEO Business 2026 is free to attend. Further details and registration are available at the official event website.
