Geo Connect Asia grows its presence in the region

The 5th edition of Geo Connect Asia (GCA) is set to highlight the mainstreaming of geospatial solutions across government, enterprise and non-profit sectors. With a record number of participants expected, the event will follow the theme of 'Geospatial driven impacts: underground, land and sea to sky', bringing together over 120 companies and more than 3,000 visitors and delegates.

Scheduled for 9-10 April 2025 at the Sands Expo & Convention Centre in Singapore, GCA 2025 will be co-located with Digital Construction Asia, Drones & Uncrewed Asia, and Marine & Hydro Asia. The event’s expanding scope is reflected in the return of the Digital Underground Connect conference and the launch of the Digital Construction Asia Forum and the APAC Earth Observation Forum.

A major highlight of GCA 2025 will be the Geo Autonomy Summit (formerly Geo Connect Asia Conference), focusing on the growing influence of AI, robotics, data interoperability, and security across industries.

Strengthening regional presence

The regional significance of Geo Connect Asia continues to grow, with group pavilion support from Indonesia, Sabah, Singapore and Thailand. Organizers aim to increase regional attendance beyond 40% of the total audience, up from 32.5% in 2024. Commenting on this expanded regional footprint, Rupert Owen, co-founder of Geo Connect Asia, emphasized the importance of knowledge-sharing within the geospatial sector: "The vulnerability of ASEAN countries to climate-induced challenges, the dynamics of urbanization and the need to actively manage limited resources demands response from planners, operators and industry specialists. Supported by the latest geospatial solutions there is a growing belief in technology-enhanced answers to some of the most pressing challenges. Sharing these experiences is the focus of Geo Connect Asia as the regional community hub."

Driving business growth with geospatial solutions

Geo Connect Asia 2025 aims to provide a collaborative business meeting platform for industry professionals from South East Asia and beyond. The event will offer opportunities to explore how geospatial solutions and location intelligence can drive business growth.

With an exhibition featuring over 100 premium companies, visitors can expect a diverse range of solutions incorporating the latest in surveying, remote sensing, location-based technologies and operational solutions. The event promises to be a key gathering for industry professionals looking to network, exchange insights and explore the very latest geospatial innovations.

Geo Connect Asia 2025 is primed to solidify its status as the leading epicentre for the regional geospatial community, catalysing collaboration and driving groundbreaking innovation across the sector.
