Geo Week 2025 draws record attendance and industry leaders
More than 3,200 geospatial and mapping professionals gathered for Geo Week 2025, held from 10-12 February at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver, Colorado, USA. With a sold-out exhibit hall featuring 215 exhibitors, the event set new records and reinforced its status as the key meeting point for the industry. Attendees from 49 countries explored how data, maps and advanced technologies drive deeper insights and innovative solutions. Geo Week also served as the in-person host for World Lidar Day, celebrating global achievements in Lidar.
"Year after year, Geo Week’s incredible growth is a testament to the continued evolution and expansion of geospatial technologies around the world. As industries experience rapid advancements in technology, Geo Week stands at the forefront of these changes. We are thrilled to be the leading event platform in North America to answer the demand for knowledge, networking opportunities and technology to make informed decisions and solve complex global challenges," said Lee Corkhill, group event director at Diversified, which produces the event. "We are honoured to help accelerate geospatial growth and gather the industry to celebrate advancements each year, and to connect, collaborate and explore the technologies transforming industries across the globe."
Geo Week kicked off on Monday 10 February with Product Previews, followed by two and a half days of extensive conference programming from speakers covering a range of content that explored geospatial technologies, digital workflows, cutting-edge reality capture, advanced Lidar and more. New this year, all conference attendees had expanded access to a Reality Capture Network track, in addition to Geo Week and ASPRS-hosted sessions – providing more valued content and insights. Industry leaders from top organizations shared their expertise on a range of topics.
World Lidar Day
Geo Week’s impactful keynote presentations provided invaluable insights into how geospatial technology is shaping industries and solving real-world challenges. In the sold-out exhibit hall, best-in-class solutions from the most influential companies were displayed, allowing attendees to compare and source the latest geospatial innovations. Additionally, the Exhibit Hall Theater hosted live presentations from top technology providers, offering hands-on insights into cutting-edge product demos and case studies, and also featured a special panel celebrating World Lidar Day to recognize the power and progression of Lidar.
Additional special features of the 2025 event included a Pitch the Press event, where the latest products from Mad Nadir Mapping, NOVI and Tersus GNSS were chosen from 16 presentations that were pitched rapid-fire to a panel of high-profile press representatives at Geo Week. These solutions represent the cutting edge in hardware, components and services.
ASPRS hosted an Academic Hub, highlighting university research from leading academic and research institutions, as well as Poster Sessions in the Future Leaders Hub, a new area on the exhibit hall floor dedicated to highlighting the next generation of geospatial professionals, fostering connections between students, educators and industry leaders.
