ISPRS: Centenary Celebration

Paper or abstracts can be submitted for the ISPRS Commission VII Symposium, which will take place during July 5–7 2010 at the Vienna University of Technology, Austria. The submission deadline for papers undergoing a full-paper review is 28th November, 2009. For abstract-only review, the submission deadline is 28th February 2010.

The International Society for Photogrammetry (ISP) was founded by Eduard Dolezal at the Vienna University of Technology in 1910. The Society changed its name to the International Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ISPRS) in 1980, reflecting the increasing integration of the two disciplines.

In our modern digital age, photogrammetry and remote sensing have virtually grown together due to their common background: the extraction of reliable information from non-contact imaging and other sensor systems about the Earth and its environment and other physical objects and processes, through recording, measuring, analysing and representation.

For more information about the two-tier review process please visit the symposium website. Registration will begin on 18th November 2009.
