ISPRS Symposium on Operational Remote Sensing Applications

The organising committee has announced that the ISPRS TC VIII International Symposium ‘Operational Remote Sensing Applications: Opportunities, Progress and Challenges’ & Annual Conventions of ISRS and ISG and Joint Sessions with ISPRS TC IV & VI will be held in Hyderabad, India, from 9 to 12 December.

The symposium, as one of the most important events of ISPRS Technical Commission VIII, is to provide an interdisciplinary forum for scientists, researchers and practitioners in the field of remote sensing with the theme of the symposium on “Operational Remote Sensing Applications: Opportunities, Progress and Challenges”. The participants of the Symposium will present the latest developments and applications, discuss cutting-edge technologies, exchange research ideas, and promote international collaboration.

The organising committee invites remote sensing professionals to participate in pre-symposium tutorials and also in the international symposium. There is no additional fee for the regular/full time student delegates who register for pre-symposium tutorials.

The papers accepted for the symposium will be published in two categories, namely: The International Annals (based on double-blinded peer-review) of the Photogrammetry, Remote Sensing and Spatial Information Sciences and The International Archives (based on extended abstract review) of the Photogrammetry, Remote Sensing and Spatial Information Sciences.

The last date for submission of papers for the symposium has now been extended to 8 September.
