Leica Geosystems Launches New Tablet Computers

Leica Geosystems has released the Leica Zeno CS25 plus and CS25 GNSS plus, the next generation of its 7-inch tablet computer for GIS data collection. Both handheld tablets offer significantly improved overall performance, with more storage capacity, a higher-resolution camera and faster communication capabilities to speed up asset collection and management.

The Leica Zeno CS25 plus and Leica Zeno CS25 GNSS plus tablet computers are easy-to-handle and perform fast. Recently updated features make the handheld CS25 plus tablet ideal for field workers demanding robust and powerful equipment yet requiring portable and professional performance. The CS25 plus weighs 1.3 kilograms and has a 7 inch widescreen touch display with excellent visibility in outdoor conditions – even in direct sunlight.

An improved overall performance has been achieved by integrating a processor with higher speed and doubling the size of both RAM and on-board storage. A new display improves visibility and an upgraded 5 megapixel camera offers better image resolution for added asset images. The new Leica Zeno CS25 plus tablet keeps the durable look and ease of the previous device but has become a much more powerful device. It also meets the stringent MIL-STD 810G military standards for withstanding humidity, vibrations, drops and extreme temperatures and with an IP65 rating, keeps dust and water out as well.
