Lidar Testing Extension Presented at ILMF

Spatial Information Solutions (SIS) is in Denver (Colorado, USA) this week attending the International Lidar Mapping Forum (ILMF). SIS released its Lidar Testing Extension (LTE) plug-in for Topo Analyst and it will be shown in person for the first time this week at ILMF. LTE automates testing of Lidar data and products across the project life cycle.  

 

LTE delivers powerful analytical capabilities to perform in-depth testing of Lidar data and products, from checking completeness of swath coverage to correctness of calibrated swath data to accuracy, compliance, and consistency of final tiled LAS and DEM data products.

 

Topo Analyst 1.0, released in summer of 2011, delivers the same streamlined workflow, ease of use, and readily understood results you expect from SIS software. Topo Analyst facilitates testing Lidar point cloud data, DEM data products, and other raster elevation data (such as IFSAR). With Topo Analyst, you can make sure you are producing, buying, or using data that meet your specifications and mapping needs. Topo Analyst gives producers, customers, and users the ability to verify accuracy and quality with the following benefits:
