Loka GNSS Receiver - 15/08/2012


UniStrong, China, has released the Loka high-accuracy handheld GNSS receiver for high-end mobile GIS solutions and surveying systems. It includes GPS and GPS/GLONASS, with the option of several accuracy levels, thus meeting the requirements of a variety of users. Its integrated Windows Mobile operating system supports all manner of application software for different functions.

The device includes GPRS/GSM, 5M auto focus camera, high-capacity Li-ion battery, support of Micro SD card, and includes a call function.

The Loka series includes a high-performance GPS module, working with SBAS and CORS systems, able to provide real-time sub-metre positioning accuracy. An external antenna maintains a reliable positioning result even in badly covered area such as urban areas. Some models can receive both GPS and GLONASS signals, to get accurate and reliable positioning results quickly.

High-resolution large colour LCD screen, sunlight readable, ensures a delicate and accurate graphical display. Large-capacity lithium batteries and low power consumption ensure a longer period of working time. Integrated electronic compass, barometer and motion sensors meet various working requirements.

The Loka is a series of industrial-grade mobile GIS platform products designed with full consideration of operating needs of the industry. Waterproof and dustproof to IP65, resistant to 1.2m drop on concrete, Loka is a good working partner in the harsh field environment.

Loka uses the Windows Mobile operating system and is compatible with all application software developed for Windows Mobile 6.5, making it versatile in use. It supports a variety of communication techniques including GPRS, WiFi and Bluetooth for data transmission. Built-in camera, LED flash and recording microphone allow it to collect sufficient multimedia data for any industry.
