Steven Vesterdal has a long and successful track record in the mining business. Steven has almost twelve years experience in modular mining systems where he worked as a project engineering manager. He was involved in many customer implementations, developing key subsystems and modules. He also participated heavily in sales, product development and customer account management. After that time Steven became the chief technology officer at the automation center in Tucson (Arizona, USA).

Together with his team Steven Vesterdal will expand on the recent successes of the mining business: "The mining business in North and South America has an excellent opportunity to capture business, especially in the gold and copper mining sectors. Our strategy is to continue to develop the market and support innovative solutions that allow mine operators to operate more efficiently and to measure and manage their operations."

Mark Concannon, president of the division, is very happy that Steven Vesterdal has decided to join the organization as the successor of Sergio Blacutt: "We appreciate Sergio's excellent contribution and efforts over the years within the mining business and I wish him all the best for his future projects. I'm also very pleased that Steven has accepted his new role, I am sure he will continue to build on Sergio's previous success and lead the organization to further growth and greater achievements."
