Meixner Imaging and Capturing Reality Sign Distribution Agreement

Meixner Imaging has signed an agreement with Capturing Reality entitling Meixner Imaging and its worldwide network to distribute RealityCapture. This state-of-the-art, all-in-one photogrammetry software solution automatically extracts accurate 3D models from a set of ordinary images and/or laser scans.

Philipp Meixner, CEO of Meixner Imaging, commented that the partnership felt right from the first meeting onwards. Combining input data from images, laser scans and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) for 3D modelling, Capturing Reality brings in a lot of expertise and experience in 3D modelling that perfectly complement Meixner Imaging’s own existing 3D data visualisation and data management solutions. Philipp Meixner expects that exploiting such combined synergies will strengthen both their product portfolios and ultimately result in a lot of enhanced benefits and new business opportunities for customers worldwide.

Michal Jancosek, managing partner at Capturing Reality, regards the two unique technologies of RealityCapture – which produces 3D models of unlimited size – and Geoverse – which can visualise such models – as together forming an end-to-end solution for their customers. In his view, that makes Meixner Imaging, as the exclusive reseller of Geoverse, the ideal partner to distribute the RealityCapture solution.
