MicroSurvey CAD 2013
Canada-based MicroSurvey has released MicroSurvey CAD 2013, which is based on the redesigned IntelliCAD 7.2 engine. This IntelliCAD engine 7.2 has many new features and improvements, such as MrSID (.sid) file support, new entity snap modes, a dockable properties pane, faster display graphics, DGN import and non-rectangular viewports.
According to Brian Sloman, product manager for desktop products at MicroSurvey, features included in the IntelliCAD 7.2 engine have been added to MicroSurvey CAD 2013: improvements to the engine, several added surveying-related features, support for Google Maps and Google Earth, additional AutoMap and labelling options, a new Leica DBX importer, and other enhancements.
MicroSurvey offers free trial versions for all of its major software available on the MicroSurvey website.
