NCT-2100D From NavCom

NavCom Technology, Inc. (CA, USA) announced the introduction of the new NCT-2100D, a 12 channel, dual frequency GPS engine. The NCT-2100D is a form fit, pin compatible replacement for NavCom's existing 10 channel GPS engine providing a seamless upgrade path for both OEM customers and NavCom's fully integrated GPS receivers.
The NCT-2100D geodetic quality GPS engine features include lower power consumption, significantly extending battery life for maximum in-field use, a faster processor with additional program memory for new GPS applications support, plus 12 channel all-in-view dual frequency GPS tracking. The engine incorporates the fourth generation of NavCom's Touchstone GNSS ASIC chip providing 24 GPS channels plus two dedicated SBAS channels as well as legacy patented technologies for optimal performance and product flexibility.
NavCom will continue to warrant all previous 10 channel products and offers an attractive upgrade path to ensure customers take full advantage of the latest technology offered.
The company is currently taking orders for the NCT-2100D OEM GPS engine, and all NavCom GPS products will include the new engine as standard by the end of September 2005.
