New Sales Appointments at Topcon

Topcon (CA, USA) welcomes Mike Weir to its corporate staff as worldwide GIS sales manager. Weir graduated with honours from National-Louis University with a Bachelor of Arts in Management. His education includes advanced courses in geodetic surveying and mapping. Prior to joining Topcon, Weir was employed by ESRI. Over the course of his career, he has made substantial contributions to bridging the gap between land surveying and GIS professions. Weir’s extensive experience makes him ideally suited to lead and promote sales of Topcon’s GIS products.

Topcon Positioning Systems, Inc. (CA, USA) has announced the promotion of Mark Contino from marketing manager to director of international sales and marketing. He is now charged with overseeing GPS and machine control product marketing activities worldwide, and sales activities for these products outside of the western hemisphere. His responsibilities also include managing marketing activities for optical and laser products in the western hemisphere.
