Optech to Host Innovative Lidar Solutions Conference
Optech (Canada) has announced today that its first Innovative Lidar Solutions Conference (ILSC) will be held in Toronto from 24th to 26th June 2009. An initial call for papers has been issued.
Lidar data is widening its role in applications ranging from remote sensing to emergency services management and homeland security. The ILSC 2009 will focus on an open forum for industry professionals to discuss best practices and explore "real-world" lidar solutions. Topics of special interest will include how to use lidar hardware systems to maximise accuracy, improve efficiency and solve unique application challenges. There will also be a special focus on the implementation of Optech's various lidar sensors for application solutions.
Both users and potential users of Optech technologies are welcome to submit papers. You are also welcome to register if you simply wish to attend to learn more about the role of lidar in solving your surveying needs.
