Rolta Acquires WhittmanHart Consulting

Rolta (India) has signed an agreement to acquire WhittmanHart Consulting. WhittmanHart Consulting (IL, USA) is a management and technology consulting services firm that delivers solutions with a unique blend of industry relevance, business process innovation and technology expertise. The company is recognised today as an industry leading provider of consulting services in the Business Intelligence (BI) arena, particularly focused on the Hyperion software technology acquired by Oracle Corporation in 2007. WhittmanHart, Inc. will retain and continue to operate WhittmanHart Interactive, its leading interactive agency, in a standalone capacity.

WHC employs over 80 highly experienced consultants with management consulting, IT and industry specific backgrounds. Using its industry expertise, WHC has developed proprietary financial templates, driver-based planning models, and BI Scorecards and acceleration tools.

WHC has served several hundred clients, including Fortune 500 companies across many industries. Its partners include Oracle, Business Objects, Cognos, CA and HP.

Rolta can now offer a more complete range of business solutions and consulting services, such as EPM and risk management, especially to its GIS/geospatial and engineering clients. At the same time, Rolta can also leverage the WHC customer base by offering its complementary solution suite.
