SimActive Adds Multiple New Features to Correlator3D

SimActive has announced the release of Correlator3D version 8.6. The new version includes multiple new features, such as the use of intensity data from LAS files for image registration, the ability to improve mosaic seamlines with a DSM and the support of  DJI sun sensors. Based in Canada, SimActive is a leading developer of photogrammetry software.

The software also now allows the handling of single-image satellite projects. Specifically, aerial triangulation can be performed using GCPs to improve georeferencing. External DEMs can then be used for orthorectification.

“Feedback from our users is extremely important to us and drives our software development efforts”, said Louis Simard, CTO at SimActive. “The ability to quickly adjust to client needs as well as to predict their future requirements allows us to stay ahead of competition.”

Correlator3D software is a patented end-to-end photogrammetry solution for the generation of high-quality geospatial data from satellite and aerial imagery, including drones. The software solution performs aerial triangulation (AT) and produces dense digital surface models (DSM), digital terrain models (DTM), point clouds, orthomosaics, 3D models and vectorized 3D features.
