SimActive Correlator3D's latest version is optimized for large projects

SimActive has released version 10.3 of its Correlator3D suite. This latest version introduces many optimizations of the underlying product architecture to further enhance the processing of large projects and the user experience.

Bigger projects comprising tens of thousands of images take a longer time to process, with some processing steps taking much longer than others. Users need to be constantly informed of their progress. The new version brings additional feedback throughout the processing workflow as well as more fluid interaction with data. “Optimizations made in Version 10.3 greatly enhance the user experience when working with very large projects,” said Louis Simard, CTO at SimActive. “Having a fluidity when dealing with huge datasets also allows for the processing of even more extensive projects.”

SimActive's high-end photogrammetry suite is a leading photogrammetry solution for high-quality geospatial data from satellite and aerial imagery, including drones. The software package performs aerial triangulation and produces dense digital surface models (DSMs), digital terrain models (DTMs), 3D models, orthomosaics, point clouds and vectorized 3D features, and is tailored for rapid production of large datasets.
