SPAR Europe Also In 2011

With the inaugural edition of SPAR Europe/Plant-Tech scheduled for 7th and 8th December 2010 at Amsterdam's RAI Convention Center, The Netherlands, the organisers have announced the dates for the second edition. SPAR Europe/Plant-Tech 2011 will take place 8th and 9th November in The Netherlands. The venue for 2011 will be announced next month at SPAR Europe/Plant-Tech 2010.

"The decision to reserve dates for 2011 was based on three factors," said Tom Greaves, Managing Director of SPAR Europe. "First, we've had a terrific response to the upcoming event in Amsterdam, as evidenced by a sold-out exhibit floor and strong conference registrations; second, because 3D technology is growing and changing so rapidly, there's a need for regular face-to-face information-sharing among professionals who are exploring, use, and provide the technology; and third, the number of uses for 3D scanning keeps growing while the cost continues to fall."

At the 2010 SPAR Europe, which merged with Plant-Tech, thought-leaders in 3D imaging will convene to discuss ways in which cutting-edge technology can solve problems and create efficiencies in markets as diverse as design, construction, architectural preservation, manufacturing and security.
