Spatial Data Infrastructures Seminar

The universities of Leuven and Brussels, both in Belgium, are organising a seminar on Spatial Data Infrastructures from 7th to 11th November 2011. This scientific event, to be held in Leuven, concludes the Spatialist project.

Objectives of the event are enhancing the knowledge about spatial data infrastructures (SDIs) viewed from multi-disciplinary perspectives (e.g. technology, law, sociology, economics and public administration science), to clarify the latest SDI trends, and to set up a research agenda in the context of SDI. The organisers expect to meet SDI practitioners and academics who want to enhance their knowledge about spatial data infrastructures and/or who are interested in the latest SDI trends and research.
