Steven Feldman Appointed as Non-executive Chairman at Exprodat

Exprodat, UK, has appointed geospatial industry expert Steven Feldman as non-executive chairman. Feldman has experience of the geospatial industry garnered from taking GDC to being an e-government geosolutions provider, through his time as managing director of MapInfo UK, to creating and managing the spatial consultancy KnowWhere.

His mix of GIS knowledge and business savvy will be a source of advice to the Exprodat board as they steer the company to further growth.

Steven explained more about why he had chosen to join the Exprodat board. He sees Exprodat as a well-managed, successful company working in a high-value, buoyant market. He sees opportunities for the company and is looking forward to helping Exprodat’s management team to prioritise and realise those opportunities.

In welcoming him, Exprodat managing director Gareth Smith said that Steven’s GIS industry experience and knowledge will be invaluable as the company is entering the next phase of achieving its vision of becoming the leading provider of Esri-based GIS services, training and value-added products to the energy industry.
