Strata Releases PocketPenMap/Penmap GPS

Strata (United Kingdom) has launched their new PocketPenmap and new Penmap GPS. Now users can do full RTK (GPS and Glonass) surveys on their mobile phone and PDA, in an integrated system that weighs only 1.7kg.

PenMap GPS features a fully integrated GPS system, GPS, Glonass, L-Band, 5mm accuracy, 72 channels and weighs 1.7kg.

Pocket PenMap features: colour graphics in the field, full feature coding and layering, stake out directly to plans, the system runs on TabletPC, PDA, Dataloggers, or Cell phones and works with GPS and Total Stations from most manufacturers.
