Supergeo Renews Partnership for GIS Development in Southeast China

Supergeo Technologies has extended its partnership with Star Vision, a professional GIS consulting and surveying firm in Hong Kong, to further develop the geospatial industry in China. After the entry into the Hong Kong and Macau market, both companies have stepped out and introduced SuperGIS to Guangdong.

Rooted in the Asia-Pacific hub, Hong Kong, Star Vision has contributed to geospatial service since its establishment in 1989. In addition to providing professional GIS consulting and system construction service, the company also focuses on car navigation, remote sensing service, survey projects, and the development of 3D landscapes. It has successfully promoted SuperGIS solutions to the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hong Kong Orienteering Club and several enterprises in a short time.

The general manager of Star Vision, also a Senior Royal Land and Water Surveyor in Hong Kong, Thomas Lee, said SuperSurv, the GIS mobile app developed by Supergeo, has effectively improved their productivity in field survey. Compared with the traditional method, it is more than 3 times faster to use SuperSurv. With SuperGIS solutions, the company can have a better working relationship with a variety of academies, governments and private organisations, Lee concluded.
