SuperGIS for Ethnology and Archaeology

Keio University, Japan, is to be using SuperGIS Desktop 3 and SuperPad 3 for the research in Ethnology and Archaeology. The procurement is contributed by BIZWORKS, SuperGeo's reseller in Japan.

Built in 1858, Keio University is the oldest private College in Japan. With the long history and outstanding research contribution, Keio University not only is the leader in Japanese academia, but also has a global reputation from its excellent international courses and numerous students.

Through the recommendation of Bizworks, SuperGeo's reseller in Japan, Keio University selected SuperGIS Desktop 3 and SuperPad 3, the powerful desktop GIS and full-function mobile GIS software respectively, for the Department of Humanities and Social Science, Faculty of Letters. The Department aims to apply the software to Ethnology and Archaeology studies, by collecting, displaying, and visualising the humanity data on the historical maps.
