Support for GNSS Survey Equipment Selection

GRACE has recently worked with Great Britain's national mapping agency, Ordnance Survey. This organisation was looking for a potential replacement for its current field surveyor's equipment and looked to GRACE for support. Throughout May a team from GRACE, led by Sean Ince (Application Development Officer), carried out data collection at various sites, including Nottingham, London and Harwich, to test potential new GNSS survey equipment.

The feedback on GRACE's testing and support service was very positive and Paul Cruddace, Geodetic Adviser for Ordnance Survey, said, "We recently worked with GRACE on a project that involved the testing of GNSS survey equipment and we found them to be very helpful and knowledgeable. We were pleased with the support we received and hope to work with them again soon on other GNSS-related projects."
