USB Photogrammetric Controller Launched

Global Geo Supplies (GGS), based in Colorado, USA, has announced the release of its new product, SoftMouse 3D, a USB photogrammetric controller. This version of the SoftMouse device features direct USB connectivity, laser optical navigation, and a number of technological and ergonomic improvements over the previous model, SoftMouse classic, that formerly was manufactured by Immersion Corporation.

The USB interface is already supported by several first-line photogrammetric software packages. Backward compatibility with legacy applications is ensured by a Microsoft-certified driver implementing a virtual emulator technology. SoftMouse 3D USB has been successfully tested with all major brands of photogrammetric applications and is available from now on.
