The acquisition of 1Spatial by VertiGIS will allow 1Spatial’s data-management platform to be combined with VertiGIS’ geospatial solutions for utilities, governments and commercial enterprises, resulting in a comprehensive geospatial technology portfolio for customers across the globe. 1Spatial adds a powerful data-quality and automation layer, giving customers the tools to evaluate, enrich and govern the spatial data that underpins VertiGIS’ workflows, including AI-powered applications. The combination also significantly expands VertiGIS’ geographic reach into new markets.

As the market shifts toward advanced software as a service (SaaS) adoption and infrastructure modernization, the VertiGIS Neo solutions offer – beyond data visualization – AI-enabled insights for predictive analytics and automated decision-making. This is paired with mobile-first field solutions designed for any device, empowering field teams with instant access to data and workflows anywhere.

By integrating the technology from 1Spatial – a long-standing VertiGIS partner – directly into its own portfolio, VertiGIS now expects to accelerate its strategy to deliver end-to-end geospatial solutions, from data creation and validation to analytics, operations and field execution.
