Video Tutorials for 3D Urban Modeller

GeoCV, Russia, has released a set of video lessons for its main product: a software system for fast and realistic 3D modelling of buildings from photos, called 3D Urban Modeller. The videos, which are available online, cover the workflow of each system module, show typical use cases and provide detailed descriptions for most of the tools.

The videos are about 2 hours in total length, so it takes about 4 hours to watch them and carry out the actions in practice. Alexander Velizhev, CEO at GeoCV, said that he is sure this is worth the effort. In a matter of a few hours, users will be creating their own building models faster than they did before. GeoCV also provides sample projects to make self-training easier and more productive, Velizhev added.

3D Urban Modeller is the main company product, and was presented at Intergeo in October 2012. It allows the creation of lifelike 3D models of buildings with clean textures and 3D facade elements.
